The IMC Business Development Office will consist of a new team with the purpose to lead, orchestrate, run, and follow up on the totality of business development efforts in IMC in order for IMC to deliver to the assignment in the most optimal way. Based on this, BDO shall actively contribute with insights and suggested actions to make IMC operationally excellent.

As Analyst in the Business Development Office you will be responsible for establishing, leading and developing the reporting structure, which includes setting up routines in close collaboration with stakeholders and always with the business needs in mind. You secure that data, which the actionable insights are based on, are updated, relevant and accessible. Since we are a new team you will need to be entrepreneurial and also focused on structure and details, building on IKEA standards.
Some of your main assignments in this role will be:
To gather, monitor, analyse and follow up data for the different business development dimensions/categories decided by IMC management
Secure correct data according to the IMC year cycle
Responsible for visualization (reporting), based on agreed IKEA templates and tools
Based on the collected data, support in identifying the business consequences, opportunities and risks. Contribute in the team to draw conclusions and present actionable insights to IMC management and the IMC Board
Follow up on initiatives to track progress and benefit realization
Responsible for process of incoming business requests
Support in cases when BDO is running complex project
Secure excellent cross-function collaboration and good relations with internal IMC and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role you have an understanding the IKEA and IMC business model, strategic landscape and IKEA Ways of working. You have deep knowledge about business information tools used in IKEA which includes a knowledge and passion about how to present business information in a simplified and pedagocial way. You are goal- and delivery oriented with a passion for details and motivated by simplifying complex issues. You are able and driven to establish and maintain good relations and collaborations with all relevant stakeholders.
