Your chance to take on the challenge as Deputy Strategy & Plan manager in Marketing & Communication Core Business Range with the ambition to step into the Strategy & Plan manager role within 6-12 months.
Marketing & Communication function as a total focuses on strategic development of the IKEA marketing and communication, brand building communication as well as communication to the many people inside and outside of IKEA. The position is a highly strategic where you together Strategy & Plan manager and colleagues within the Strategy and Plan team, are responsible to lead the overall communication plan for IKEA common content. The team sets the Range & Communication strategy (together with our friends in range and product development), the strategic initiatives as well as the common drivers and platform to develop and execute marketing and communication. You play a key role in the IKEA network to agree on the global communication plan as an integrated part of IKEA business plan as well as the overall planning for Marketing & Communication deliverables. Together with the team, you lead the process to agree on priorities and support with content management securing commerciality and consistency for an impactful content with key partners in IKEA network. It is not only about the defining, developing and deliver the strategy and plan – the team also run several cross organisation assignments for certain topics – in other words – it is as much about creating pre-conditions for developing the content. The Strategy & Plan team secures and manages an effective, efficient and agile portfolio supporting the business ambitions for a consistent M&C approach and execution for the IKEA priorities across units.
This role requires high skills of coaching and leadership leading the strategy and plan agenda together with team as well as leading across IKEA networks in close collaboration with retailers as a prerequisite for relevant content. It also requires deep skills within the marketing field that we are eager to enrich ourselves with!
In this role, we believe that you will:
Define, develop and lead the overall strategy and plan to enable world class marketing and communication
Be responsible to develop and govern the IKEA communication calendar as an integrated part of the IKEA Business plan where we bring in all aspects of communication for better products, better homes and better life at home
Be responsible in defining, planning and establishing the marketing and communication priorities built on close collaboration with the IKEA eco system
Be responsible to run cross organisational initiatives as well as putting the pre-conditions for execution in place
Contribute to the overall framework agreements within IKEA Network in relation to Marketing & Communication
Be responsible for overall communication plan and content sharing with colleagues within and outside the Marketing & Communication network.
