About the job

  • Optimising the use of the IKEA store layout and store media by developing and implementing range presentation solutions that strengthen the connection between the IKEA offer and the everyday lives of people
  • Responsible for ensuring to visualise the uniqueness of the IKEA product range using the store media mix in activities related to the commercial calendar to distance us from the competition

Your assignment

  • Developing and implementing efficient and effective store communication, supporting self-choice and selfserve
  • To show ideas and solutions in many different styles, functions and price profiles to fit many individual tastes and to strengthen the uniqueness of IKEA
  • Based on deep knowledge of people’s life at home and a high level of home furnishing competence present and communicate the IKEA offer in ways that make it attractive and relevant to my local market
  • Reflecting the IKEA identity and creating visual impact in all commercial areas, specialty shops, self-serve furniture and activity areas, creating vitality throughout these areas which exceeds our visitor’s expectations
  • Working with other functions on the commercial calendar activities, using the media to ensure vitality in all areas, in and outside the store, throughout the year

Qualification
  • Ability to use their commercial and visual competence and their keen eye for aesthetics to capitalise on the short and long-term business opportunities within the retail environment
  • Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, visual merchandising, retailing and communication
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team
