Job Description

At IKEA, we do things a little different. We think differently, act differently, and work differently as well. We like to break things. Like habits. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps. And beds disguised as sofas. Even plantballs that help us look after our planet. It’s all part of our vision - to create a better everyday life for the many. And it’s been keeping our co-workers going for over 75 years. By 2030, we hope to help millions more look forward to going home. Maybe you can help us?

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is the owner of the intellectual property rights in the IKEA Concept and the worldwide IKEA franchisor, with 12 different groups of companies operating IKEA stores and other IKEA sales channels in over 60 different countries across the world, under franchise agreements with Inter IKEA Systems B.V.

The tax function is part of the Business Performance & Support team at Inter IKEA Systems B.V.  The tax team is an active partner to internal and external stakeholders, delivering its expertise in a simple, practical and business-minded way. You will be working in an international environment with a multi-dimensional view considering commercial, people, financial and operational perspectives.

You are service minded and enjoy supporting your colleagues across Inter IKEA Group on a daily basis. You build trustful relationships with all stakeholders relevant for tax and work collaboratively across organizational and geographical boundaries.

What’s more, we believe that you are able to create structure and simplify complex tax matters for our business stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:

  • 4-7 years of experience in a tax law/accounting firm or in-house, with focus on tax reporting
