• With having experienced in a manager position for at least 3-5years. *preferred
• Previous retail experience required.
• Previous leadership of large teams or groups required.
• Needs to have proven track record of developing high level leaders.
• Eagerness to work in different IKEA locations (Region or/ and National)
• English skill is essential

【Deputy Market Manager Assignment】
• Directs and develops IKEA retailing in the local market and ensures alignment with the IKEA vision, IKEA business idea, human resource idea, and the INGKA Retail Direction.
• Strengthens competitive position through building a strong IKEA Brand position and increases customer base by growing the IKEA market share within the total market.
• Co-develops the Market Growth Plan, Market Commercial Plan and provides input on local priorities.
• Develops, leads and delivers growth, low cost and sustainable profitability in accordance with our overall purpose, retail direction and our financial strategy within the Market to maximize the growth and potential of the market P&L.
• Ensures that the unit/ store works ethically and in compliance with internal regulations and external laws including legislation relating to risk, environment, health, and safety.
• Partners with other Market Mgrs., the Area Mgr. and country service office to share entrepreneurial ideas and express opportunities for improvement on current ways of working.
• Secures competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire, and empowers every coworker to recognize and understand their contribution.



【Employment Status】
- Full-time employee- 40 hours per week contract
- Indefinite employment with no contract period (probation period: 6 months after joining)
- Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
- Retirement age: 65 years old

- Transportation expense stipend (up to 1,530 yen/day): Commuting by car is permitted (parking space provided)
