Lead the Quality and Sustainability agenda for the P&D together with the P&D management, matrix manager and Global support in accordance with the business needs that is based on customer needs and requirements. Both today and future needs
Understand and integrate the IKEA Quality Strategy and IKEA Sustainability Strategy into P&D yearly action plan.
Responsible for the budget of the team.
Responsible for securing, organizing and leading internal and external resources in quality, sustainability and safety related tasks. Sharing the knowhow to reach; Zero accident approach, Quality mindset and People and planet positive insights among everyone.
Be the expertise for using quality tools to improve the quality level, to find root causes for claims, to implement preventive and corrective actions and increase the quality awareness within P&D.
Set goals and strive towards continuous improvement within Quality and Sustainability. Lead the development working methods, secure alignment and deployment.
Responsible to develop and coach the production engineers to secure right product compliance and requirement, secure alignment and way of working with global functions.
Responsible for maintaining, implement and develop working policy and rules within quality and sustainability.
Contribute to develop new KPI reports related to quality and safety and responsible to secure weekly and/or monthly reports.
Secure that IKEA rules and country specific laws and regulations linked to safety and security are followed
Develop business and people together, secure learning in the business and encourage entrepreneurial behaviors, be responsible for recruitment, competence development and introduction of new employees
University degree in quality/sustainability management or equivalent competence gained through work experience.
3-5 years leadership experience in a management position (preferable manufacturing or related) Proven management and leadership skills.
More than 5 years’ experience in quality and preferable experience in sustainability
Good understanding of industrial production.
Good knowledge about continuous improvements
Good knowledge of Quality Management systems.
Good knowledge within IWAY.
Good knowledge and understanding of the IKEA supply chain
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbally.
