Job description

About the job

IKEA Jurong is a unique city centre store in a popular shopping mall. It is a smaller store with a big turnover and with 3 milion visitors. It will be lead by an ambitious team consisting of the Store, Commercial, Operations, IKEA Food and a Retail Foundation Manager.

In your role as an Operations Team Leader, you will secure that the right pre-conditions are in place for efficient, consistent and compliant operations by safeguarding in the store at all times a good comprehension and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Your assignment

  • Drive a strong operations team to secure the efficiency, adherance, continuity, compliance and follow up on processes & tools that supports the customer’s journey and experience in the store
  • Support the process of identifying root causes for issues which impact negatively on store operations and use these insights to adapt routines and processes in order to improve the customer experience
  • Ensure that all co-workers are trained on systems that supports meeting with the customer
  • Ensure that co-workers are trained on business contingency plans to secure the continuity of the business during system failures
  • Ensure balanced operational excellence in daily operations to enhance the easy buying experience in line with Commercial Review requirement

Qualification
  • You have at least 3-5 years experience working in IKEA operations or similar that has a direct impact on the customer experience.
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team.
  • You are process oriented and have the drive to improve efficiency and the customer shopping experience
  • You have proven ability to quickly find solutions for customer and operational issues thus meeting the goals for ”time to resolve”
  • You have a good knowledge of systems and tools and are able to train co-workers on how to use them
